America must change now!
America must change now! |
A 30-year-old civil engineer
from Farsan, a village in the West Bank, has been living in a cave with his
family for many years. Israeli military officials are unwilling to allow it.
Almost every family in Farsan and most Palestinians suffer from the same
problems and conditions. The area is 60 percent of the total area of the West Bank, rich in natural
resources but sparsely populated. It is not difficult to understand why
Netanyahu wants full control of the area.
From the beginning of Zionist
colonialism. There has been a plan to disperse the Palestinians, but this plan
has been delayed due in part to its legal and controversial status, but over
the years, Israel has occupied Palestine in various ways and conspiracies.
Israel's expansionist and brutal actions continue to intensify. Just a few
months before the bloody Holi in Ramadan, Israel demolished 30 homes in the
West Bank, displacing more than 100 people. According to a UN agency, Israeli
forces also demolished 33 non-residential buildings. Unfortunately, Farsan and
many similar areas are targeted by Israelis.
Another 200 people have been
harassed by the Israeli army for years. Israel wants to settle Jews in the
middle of the occupied West Bank. On July 29, Israeli forces attacked Farsan
and threatened to demolish the population. A senior Farsan official said that
from the beginning, Israel had planned to wipe out the entire Muslim
population. Amarana's family has also been ordered to evict while she lives in
a cave, not in a regular house.
Amarana said, "How can the
Israelis stop us from living in a cave? Animals living in caves and mountains
are not deprived of their habitat." Let's not think of it as an animal and
let it live in a cave. It's not just sentimentality but a reality. Israel is
using all clever and cruel tactics for its plan to forcibly evict the Muslims
here. A large part of it has been given the status of self-governing land,
survey land, firing zone, national park. Israel is gradually working on this
project in an organized manner.
This is not just a coincidence,
but in November 2017, Israel allowed development work in only 16 of the 180
Palestinian territories. From 2016 to 2018, 1,485 Palestinians applied for
construction, but only 21 of them were allowed to do so. The only way left for
the Palestinians is to start construction without permission. Many families,
without permission, resorted to alternative methods, such as Amrana, in the
mountains and caves. This is especially the case in Nablus and Khalil.
Empty houses, collapsed houses
and unfinished houses can be seen in the western mountains on the outskirts of
the city. Has made the dark caves its home, demanding basic human rights and
justice from the human community, but the United Nations is now breaking the
silence and focusing on Israel's racist policies and the Palestinians. For the
first time, voices have begun to be raised within the United States, Israel's
greatest educator and supporter.
The American people were not as
aware of racism in the 1960s as they are today. They are clearly aware of
racism and its dangers. As a result, young Americans are no longer convinced
that their society is "color blind," as it was five decades ago when
the civil rights movement "Black Life Meter" in Latin, Native American,
The reasons for the regime against Muslims and black Americans were exposed. At
the same time, racists were prejudiced against Palestinians and Palestinians
were portrayed as hated in the American media, in politics and in textbooks.
The young and progressive class
that has spread the voice of the Palestinians around the world through social
media will no longer accept the unconditional support of Israel by American
politicians without any argument. Has taken the form of racial hatred, with the
progressive American class bearing a resemblance to America's past colonial
system and the atrocities committed against the Palestinians.
The local Palestinian
journalists (who have shown the real situation in Gaza to the world) have
forced the American people to acknowledge the fact that US aid is
systematically aiding Israel in human rights abuses in Palestine, just as the
United States is black. Militancy and racism are being used against the
Americans. The forcible eviction of Palestinians from occupied East Jerusalem
and the Israeli bombing of unarmed civilians in Gaza have gradually changed
public opinion in the United States about Israel.
